We decided that since Reese is now 5 and getting invited to a lot of other kids' birthday parties (many of which we're attending) that it was finally time to throw her a not-only-family birthday party. Despite a last minute cancellation in the location we chose (a pottery painting place that moved locations 2 weeks before the party but didn't pass their fire inspection in time) we were able to secure another location 2 days beforehand and had a great time. Our friend Dani made this gorgeous princess cake, which any girl (5 or 35) would love. As you can see from the smiles, I think it was a hit.
