Camping Trip

We've been hanging out with the LaFonds at Hauser Lake this week and the kids are loving being with their cousins and being in the water.  CK and the kids have been out most nights and I got back from my new project in Greenville, SC on Wednesday night so am taking off most of yesterday and today.  We're looking forward to more fun this weekend.

This is a picture from a few weeks ago of Asher walking around the house in Dad's shoes.  I couldn't resist including it.
Grandma Jan, Reese and Kaitlyn enjoying the water
Reese loves the water.  She stayed in for hours
Playing in the sand is fun, too
 Kaitlyn during the splash fight

Asher and Reese had their first jetski rides of the season.  Both loved it

Reese decided putting sand in Asher's hair would be fun

Once Asher realized how many parts there are to the jetski, he was hooked.   It's amazing how much his mind works just like Daddy's.

Day at the Lake

After moving, unpacking and CK getting tired of his ever-growing honey-do list, we decided to relax a bit so we spent Saturday at Hauser Lake.  The kids had a great time playing in the water and building sandcastles. It may not be a true beach but when the temperature is above 90 degrees, we'll take it.

Reese helped me put together some new toy and book storage for the playroom.  Here she is showing off the finished product (all cleaned up).
And one of the new storage shelves.
This is our new dining room fixture which I love.  Thank you Mom for the wonderful birthday gift.
Close up, it's a grouping of 19 glass globes with amber stars inside.

It's a...

GIRL!!!

We found out on Monday that we're having a little girl.  Even though we waited until their births to find out about Reese and Asher, we decided to find out the gender earlier with this one.  It's definitely a different feeling knowing what it is.  Kind of fun both ways, though.  Anyway our little girl was moving and kicking up a storm.  She's right on target for growth and everything looks great.  Halfway through.

We didn't have any 3D ultrasounds with Reese or Asher but they used one this time.  I have to say, it was pretty neat to see the little face.  These pictures don't do it justice but the first one is of her face (she had her hands up the entire time so it's tough to see it all).  It appears she has avoided any of the hereditary shnozes in the family ;)  The second one she has her little fists in front of her face.
And the feet that will eventually carry her through soccer practice, marathoning or down a basketball court?

The Big Move

As of yesterday we are living at 9288 LaFond Drive!  Not a bad  view to wake up to every morning, is it?

We had wonderful help moving and only two injuries (neither of which required a trip to the ER so we'll consider that a success).  Thank you to everyone who came over to help us get all of our stuff from one end of Helena to the other.  We have a lot of unpacking and organizing to do but are excited to finally be moved in.  We even got our kitchen cabinet door fronts on Friday so CK was able to install them.

The playroom didn't take long to get filled :)
Reese seemed to sleep just fine in her new digs.
