We're in Labor

Becca started having contractions last night about midnight. They were about 2-3 minutes apart and then slowed to 6-8 minutes apart. Before 3 a.m. they again became more frequent so we headed to hospital a little after 3 a.m. in the -20 degree temperatures.

It's now just past noon on Dec. 8th (12 hours later). Becca has been progressing well from 2 cm dialated when we arrived to 6 cm currently. She is feeling well with strong contractions. So for now it's wait and see. Dr McMahon has been in a number of times since 8 a.m. and everything is looking great for both Baby and Mommy ;)

The only complaint either of us have is that we did not manage to get any sleep last night. It amazing how hard it is to stay up all night if you haven't done it in more than a decade !!

Reese spent the reaminder of lasy night with aunt Jennifer and now is over at the gronley's with April and Tyler (Thanks again!) Still oblivious to how life is going to change when Mom, Dad and the new Baby get home.
