She's here!

Emily Quinn LaFond was born this morning at 8:18am.  7lbs, 2.6 ounces, 20.25 inches long.  We are all doing great and Reese and Asher are very excited about their new baby sister.  Some pictures from Emily's first day:

Valerie's birthday sledding party

We spent the last day of this pregnancy celebrating Valerie's birthday with a sledding party.  What else do you do with 18 inches of snow?  Luckily it warmed up and turned into a beautiful day.

As you can see the only clothes that fit me currently are CK's.  Surprisingly warm :)

Well, tomorrow's the big day.  Surgery is scheduled for 8am so, if you're lucky, you might even get a blog post by CK soon after.  Wish us luck!

Happy Halloween!  Snow White and "the cow" (I know, he'll never forgive us but it's a tradition...) had a great time trick or treating tonight and we were lucky enough to have super mild, 60 degree weather.

I was looking at some recent pictures of the kids and came across one of Reese.  Then I thought...hmmm...I've seen that expression somewhere before.  Maybe just a coincidence (or I always manage to snap the picture when she's squinting) but I noticed she has made that exact same expression before:

Corn Maze

We went to the local corn maze with our friends Reid, Mishel and Jessie yesterday.  It's the last weekend so tickets were cheaper and you didn't have to pay extra for some of the other activities there.  Good thing, because the kids (and adults) had so much fun in the bouncy house, slide, lasso throw and pumpkin sling shot that we never actually made it into the corn maze.  By the time we were done with everything else and it was getting dark and cold, we called it a night and went for pizza instead.  The kids had a blast.
